Change how your prose looks
You can choose how your own words look everywhere Colophon shows them: in the reader, in your history, in search results and in scene previews.
- Choose Colophon ▸ Settings… (⌘,).
- Choose a Typeface: Serif, Sans or Mono.
- Choose a Size: Small, Default, Large or Larger.
- Choose a Line width: Narrow, Default or Wide. Line width applies to the reader only.
- Click Done.
The preview in the sheet shows the result as you choose. Click Reset to go back to the defaults.
Your prose changes typeface. Colophon's own labels stay in the system typeface, and chapter and scene titles stay in the serif, so they still look like headings.
These settings apply to every document you open on this Mac. They aren't saved in your documents.
